  • What happens when I arrive?
When you arrive, if you’ve saved your seat online, you will join the line that says “I Have a Seat” and the relaunch team will check your temperature and ask a few questions while the ushers prepare to assist you to our seat. If you have not saved your seat ahead of time, you will join the line that says “I Need a Seat.” Seating is limited in this line. Once in this line, our relaunch team will check your temperature and ushers will assist you to your seat (if available). Our team will direct each of your steps seamlessly. At all times we will assist you in maintaining a 6-foot safe distance as you move through and sit in the environment.
  • Will BayNorth be limiting the seating capacity?
Yes, we are limiting our capacity to ensure social distancing in our auditorium and overflow areas. As the local, state, and federal guidelines evolve we will update our seating limitations accordingly and keep you updated.
  • How will BayNorth practice social distancing in its location?
We will be seating every other row where seats are fixed and spacing seats accordingly to keep a safe distance between families within the auditorium. We ask that every individual practices social distancing while in the lobby or common areas.
  • Will I need to wear a mask?
Masks are required and should be properly worn by everyone over the age of 2. You will not be able to come into the facility without a mask. We are closely watching local, state, and federal guidelines to ensure all recommended safety precautions are implemented to ensure your safety.
  • How is BayNorth cleaning its facilities?
We will conduct regular cleanings between gatherings to ensure proper sanitation. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout all BayNorth campuses.
  • Will restrooms be open?
Yes, all restrooms will be open and will undergo routine cleaning.
  • Will BayNorth be screening those who attend in person?
Yes, Temperature checks will be required for all our staff, volunteer teams, and all children. We ask everyone to use good judgment: if you are feeling ill or have a family member who is feeling ill, please stay home and participate in our online experience.
  • What will children’s services look like?
Your child(ren) will join you in the auditorium for a family-friendly experience. Here are some helpful tip to make it a great time for them: Bring a tablet or mobile device and a pair of headphones.
  • What happens when service is over?
We ask that you sit tight until your section is dismissed by the ushers. We are asking that you not stop in the lobby to congregate as we will be starting a cleaning protocol for the next service. If you wish to visit with someone, please do so outside the building.
  • I’m not comfortable returning to church yet. Can I continue to be a part of the online experience?
Absolutely! We encourage you to continue joining us online each weekend until you feel comfortable attending in person. Our weekend worship experiences will continue to be streamed every Sunday at Baynorthcoc.org, Facebook, YouTube, Apple TV , Roku, and Firestick
  • How can everyone do their part?
BayNorth Staff and Facilities: All staff and volunteers will be wearing masks. Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building. All BayNorth Church services will be a touchless experience, and all high-volume areas will be thoroughly sanitized between services. Children's services will not be open at this time. No water fountains will be open or usable. No offering buckets will be passed. Instead, there will be an area in the lobby for guests who want to give or they are able to do. All seatback materials, papers, and pens will be removed. Members: If you don't feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us online. We require everyone to wear a mask. Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often. Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests.
  • I’m new to BayNorth, how do I get connected?"
If you haven’t already, we encourage you to fill out a connection card by visiting Baynorthcoc.org. You can also join Facebook by searching BayNorth Church of Christ.
  • How can I continue giving?
During this time, we will not pass an offering bowl; however, we do encourage digital giving. You can give online at Baynorthcoc.org/giving.
  • What is BayNorth doing during this time to serve the community?
As always, we’re committed to meeting the needs of our community. Since May 2020, we’ve served 70,000 meals to the homeless. To date, we have housed over 130 people since September 2020 in our BayNorth Project COVID. Check out BayNorth Emergency Shelter.
